kettal designers
Kettal outdoor furniture carries the names of the people who drew it. Patricia Urquiola, Rodolfo Dordoni and Jasper Morrison account for most of the catalog; Vincent Van Duysen, Doshi Levien, the Bouroullec brothers, Antonio Citterio, Mario Bellini and Michael Anastassiades add a collection or two each. Other pieces come from Kettal Studio, the in-house team.
12 designers, 32 collections
Each designer with the Kettal collections credited to them and the year where the catalog gives one.
Patricia Urquiola
The most represented name in the Kettal catalog. Maia, Mesh, Band, Roll, Plumon and Insula are hers, and most of them are built on woven or open surfaces.
Rodolfo Dordoni
Drew Bitta in 2011 and the families that grew from it, Bitta Lounge and Grand Bitta, plus Boma and Molo. Braided rope and long modular sofas are his part of the catalog.
Jasper Morrison
Park Life, Riva and Atlantic, from aluminum frames with Porotex fabric to solid teak. Atlantic, from 2026, takes the steady rhythm of ocean waves into curved aluminum slats.
Antonio Citterio
His Eolias group names each piece after an Aeolian island: Salina chairs in rattan and aluminum, the stackable Panarea chair and the folding Lipari teak table.
Doshi Levien
The studio of Nipa Doshi and Jonathan Levien. They drew the high-backed Cala armchair and the woven Bela lantern.
Vincent Van Duysen
Giro, from 2021, is his recycled rope family. Alize, launched at Salone del Mobile 2026 in Milan, is a sofa system on a continuous tubular frame.
Emiliana Design Studio
Zigzag is theirs, a garden vase in rope and aluminum and a round rope pouf.
Mario Bellini
Il Colonnato, from 2022, is a family of dining tables in teak, marble and Minera stone, round, square or rectangular.
Michael Anastassiades
Ringer, from 2021, is his aluminum chair with round and square tables to match.
Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel
The Danish couple who drew the Basket chair in the 1950s. Kettal edits it in oak and hand-braided wicker, and in synthetic fiber over a hardwood frame for outdoors.
Ronan Bouroullec
Designed Passage alone in 2024: one aluminum chair frame with a choice of seats, from rope and rattan to plywood and padding.
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec
Stampa, a low lounge chair built on a calyx-shaped metal shell, is their joint piece for Kettal.
