On a balcony, movement matters as much as size. Chairs that stack or fold clear the floor when you need it. Village, Park Life and Net chairs stack; Panarea from the Eolias group stacks too. Giro has a folding chair, Landscape a folding deck chair, and the Eolias Lipari table folds.
Round tables save corners. Ringer by Michael Anastassiades comes as a round or square aluminum table with a matching chair, a pairing drawn for cafe terraces with little floor to spare.
one good chair instead of a set
Some small terraces take a single piece better than a set. Stampa, the Bouroullec brothers' low lounge chair with a punched metal shell, or a Bitta hanging chair, can furnish a corner on their own. The Zigzag pouf and vase add a seat and a plant without taking a table's worth of floor.
Where a sofa fits, look at the two seaters: Bitta, Riva, Park Life, Giro and Molo all have one.

Send the width and depth of the space and the door or elevator it has to pass through. Weight limits on roof decks matter too. We check the pieces against both before quoting.
