Bitta means mooring in Italian. Dordoni wanted a braid as dense as the ropes that tie boats to a quay, yet open enough to let air through. The weave carries your weight and the cushions sit on top, so after a summer storm the seat drains and dries instead of holding water.

The collection covers a full outdoor room. There are sofas in two sizes, a modular sofa and a modular two seater, an armchair, dining chairs, a stool and a footstool, a garden bed, two sun loungers and two hanging chairs. Tables come as an extending dining table in teak and aluminum, an extending marble dining table and a marble side table.

Frames are aluminum, which does not rust, so the aluminum patio furniture question most coastal buyers ask is settled before you pick a color. Cushion covers are mass-dyed acrylic fabric: the color goes through the fiber, so sun fades it far more slowly than printed cloth.
